Ali is one of the hardest working people I know. She is passionate about her art and that is evident in all of her projects.

Ali is currently at Slippery Rock University pursuing her BFA in dance and she also has a milm and media studies minor. She is one of our treasured department of dance student workers and was recognized as the SRU student employee of the year!

Ali has such a comforting personality and makes everyone around her feel accepted. I love working with such a devoted soul and she is truly going to make it far!

A statement from Ali:

"Growing up, I wasn’t very good at making friends or communicating. I was shy and anxious and struggled with expressing myself. I was able to discover myself through art, specifically dance. Even though I had started dancing at a very young age and self-expression wasn’t what had led me to the art form in the first place, but the ability to communicate thoughts and feelings through movement kept me dancing. I found an emotional outlet through dance that truly saved me and allowed me to feel whole. In addition to the lifelong friendships and connections I’ve been able to make with the people I have danced with, I found joy in the ability to express while also being able to entertain people and make an audience feel something. This art form has also introduced me to new ways of artistic expression such as music, photography, and videography. I will forever be grateful for dance and for the people who have helped me become the dancer I am today."
