Auriana Carrington

Auriana is someone I feel like I should get an autograph from. This woman is talented and hardworking; she is an inspiration to witness.

Auriana is a BFA dance major at Slippery Rock University. She has been in a plethora of dance pieces as well as choreographing her own which she performed at the Emerging Artists dance concert.

One of my favorite photoshoots EVER was with her and another dancer, Hayden Summers, where we experimented with projection and shadows. This process was so enriching for all three of us as each person contributed their artistic vision to the shoot.

"The reason I dance is that I have an endless passion for creativity, expression, and athleticism. Dancing is the perfect blend to satisfy these needs. It has shaped me into a better athlete, artist, and person. I thrive from the endless opportunities and possibilities that it allows and if I didn’t dance I would not be the same person today."
