Zsuzsanna Smith

Zsanna is someone who makes the audience feel through her dancing. She is emotive and breathtaking in her artistry.

Zsanna is double majoring in pursuit of her BFA in dance and BSBA in economics at Slippery Rock University. She has been in many dance pieces at SRU and continues to take my breath away when she performs.

We have collaborated on a few projects including a dance film I made in fall of 2021. She is my go-to person with any idea I have because I know she'll be up for the project. I can't wait for the future collaborations I have with her, I know there will be many.

"So much of dance and art as a whole is tied to history. I love learning about history via movement, and being a part of making history with my own creative work. I love seeing and participating in the expression of our perceptions of the world via art. Art serves simultaneously as an escape and a doorway to the world around us."
